Newborn baby photography

Natural and cute

Newborn & baby photographer

I’m an Orpington based newborn baby photographer. Baby photographs are just so cute and the best time to photograph them is in the first two weeks when they are very sleepy and docile and can still curl up. Sometimes this is bad timing for parents and babies can be just as nice photographed later. As a baby photographer I have lots of patience so don’t worry about anything.

Newborn and baby sessions can be held in the comfort of your own home where you have everything for your baby and feel relaxed or if you prefer a change of scenery come to my home studio. Older babies can also be photographed at other locations and are nice outside in the warmer weather.

I’ll bring everything needed to take some lovely cute photos and have many little hats and props. I’ll take as many images as possible during the sitting which lasts up to 3 hours or maybe longer depending on how your baby is feeling, and try to get most of the images while your little one is asleep. Shoots can be booked provisionally around your due date and moved if baby arrives early or late.

Sittings start at £120 and can be held in my home studio, at your house or in a lovely outdoor area, the choice is yours. Sittings last between 1-3 hours and I charge a little extra if I have to travel a long way. The shoot includes my time, talent, expertise and editing skills which have been developed over many years and my collection of props and backgrounds. There is a list of the packages I offer below.

Prints and products can be purchased starting from £20. I offer framed prints, canvas wraps, digital photo books and albums. The high resolution digital negatives can also be purchased giving you the ability to produce as many prints and products as you wish and for use on social media. My price reflects the time, experience, editing expertise and talent that each image takes to produce.

If you are buying the shoot as a present for a baby shower I can provide a personalised gift voucher.
